Cornelia Schmidbauer touched the hearts of the guests with her beloved husband Manfred H. Schmidbauer's favourite quote "Tempus fugit - amor manet - time passes, love remains". Before going on the Factory Tour, Jannik Schmidbauer honoured his mother Cornelia and his sister Mirja with moving words.
Cornelia Schmidbauer presented the history of Elma, the division managers showed how innovative ultrasonic devices and cleaning systems are produced and assembled, and the product managers presented their products.
After a fascinating journey into the world of ultrasonic cleaning, the guests were able to gain practical experience with ultrasonic devices in the process laboratory. The impressive presentation by Christian Assfalg and Maximilian Schwarz from ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology provided fascinating insights into the highly innovative world of the semiconductor industry.
In the cantina, the Elma chef spoilt the guests with a variety of delicious delicacies and the team of Elma trainees provided their passionate support. After a day full of impressions, the Elma band set the mood with Christmas carols in the festively decorated Elma tent, where the company founder Hans Schmidbauer and his son Manfred H. Schmidbauer found their place. Two large food trucks provided the guests with Christmas delicacies and so an eventful day came to an end shortly before midnight.
