Research and Development

Elma conducts fundamental research in ultrasound technology, as we aim to further optimize this technology and use it in a responsible manner respecting people and the environment. Our research and development department as well as our process laboratory collaborate with universities on research projects.

Approximately 15% of our employees work in our R&D department, which is reflected in the high number of innovations that we bring to the market regularly and our numerous national and international patents.
