Cleaning and finishing media
ELMA develops and produces its own brand of ultrasonic cleaning chemicals: elma clean (EC), elma lab clean (ELC) and elma tec clean (ETC). There are special chemicals for the fine cleaning in the jewellery and watchmakers shops and in the dental, medical and laboratory sectors, for the cleaning of glasses and for the cleaning of metal, glass, wafers, ceramics and plastic surfaces as well as of mixed components in industrial production and workshop.
For these surfaces, Elma also produces cleaning concentrates for spray and splash cleaning: elma clean dip&splash series (EC d&s) and elma lab clean series (ELC).
With the exception of a few water-free solvent cleaners, most of these chemicals are aqueous concentrates, specially designed for the particular cleaning demands in the mentioned business branches.
We offer specialized cleaning chemicals for industrial applications:
- elma-KS (corrosion protection, additive for aqueous cleaning and rinsing of metals that are susceptible for rusting)
- elma Co-nserve (additive for aqueous cleaning and rinsing, inhibits the dissolution of cobalt from hard metal surfaces)
- elma non foam 1 (foam inhibiting additive for aqueous splash and spray cleaning applications at temperatures exceeding 60 °C)
The principal elma clean products for the dental, laboratory and medical sectors are registered in compliance with the Medical Devices Act (Medizinproduktegesetz MPG, Class I).
All elma clean - products are manufactured under strict quality control according to ISO 9001 / 2000 guaranteeing traceability of each charge.
The surfactants contained in our aqueous cleaners meet the criteria for biodegradation as laid down in Annex III of the EU regulation No 648/2004 on detergents, and are in compliance with the EU Chemicals Regulation REACH.
